What is 100% Made in Italy Certificate?
The “100% Made in Italy” certificate, issued by the prestigious ISTITUTO PER LA TUTELA DEI PRODUTTORI ITALIANI (Institute for the Protection of Italian Producers), stands as a distinguished emblem of authenticity and quality for Italian companies. This certification is the result of rigorous checks and comprehensive research, ensuring that the entire production cycle of the recipient company occurs exclusively within the borders of Italy.
Italian companies that receive the “100% Made in Italy” certificate have undergone meticulous scrutiny by the institute, which delves into every aspect of their manufacturing processes. From raw material sourcing to the final product, each stage is scrutinized to guarantee compliance with the highest standards of Italian craftsmanship and production. This certification not only validates the origin of the products but also serves as a testament to the company’s commitment to upholding the rich traditions of Italian craftsmanship.
DESIGN
At our company, we take immense pride in the fact that all of our furniture is crafted completely by hand. Our talented designers create design sketches which are then finalized and the specifications are sent to our artisans to construct the initial wood frames.
GOLD LEAF
Gold leaf is a decorative material that has been used for thousands of years. It is commonly seen on picture frames, used in architecture, on furniture, and signs. It gives a warm golden glow in low light. Gold leaf finishing expresses all the art and exclusiveness of our furniture.
PATINA
Patina refers to a weathered or tarnished finish on an item. Old or antique decorative objects often have a patina to them which is what makes them so special. Most of our furniture will be decorated with Patina finishing which makes them seem older, vintage and more luxurious.
SILVER FINISHING
Silver finishing refers to the application of a silver color to the ornate embellishments and decorative elements of traditional furniture pieces. This finish can be achieved using a variety of techniques, such as silver leafing or applying paint.
When applied to furniture details and carvings, the silver coloring can add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any room. It can also help to highlight the intricate details of the carvings, giving them a more pronounced and dramatic appearance.
UPHOLSTERY
See how our artisans skillfully get an armchair ready for upholstery. The combination of round springs, high density foams, as well as an additional layer of soft foam, increases the comfort level of our dining chairs and makes them more durable.
ROUND SPRINGS
Round springs, a time-honored method in furniture manufacturing, offer a range of benefits that contribute to the overall comfort and durability of furniture pieces. These coiled springs, often associated with traditional and classic designs, have been utilized for generations and continue to be valued for their exceptional performance.
WOOD INLAY
Wooden inlay is a timeless and intricate technique used to embellish furniture with beautiful decorative patterns and designs. It involves the process of cutting and fitting small pieces of contrasting wood or other materials into the surface of the furniture to create visually stunning effects.
